Sulphite Liquor Boilers - SULFITE POWER®

In the sulphite liquor boiler sector, AE&E offers a boiler system, which largely closes the chemical cycle during pulp cooking and not only combines chemical recovery with raw acid preparation and the incineration of malodorous gases, but also adheres to the strictest environmental regulations.

As a result of the thermal use of the organic content of the concentrated liquor, the majority of pulp plants are autonomous with regard to their energy supply. For the construction of the combustion chamber of the liquor recovery boiler, AE&E Austria has developed CFD models for the simulation of liquor droplet combustion that take into account factors such as partial pressures and particle concentrations. This means that the optimisation of the gas flow and combustion are possible even in the preliminary design phase.
