Grate technology is the most established method of thermal waste treatment. It owes its success to environmental safety, operational reliability and cost-efficiency.

Our grate technology was specially developed for waste treatment and has been perfected in decades of plant service. Individually controlled zones made up of stationary and moving rows of grate blocks are assembled into custom-configured grates with capacities from 4 to over 35 metric tons per hour.

The 18° gradient stokes and transports the waste. Every grate module has an individually controlled air supply, permitting optimal control of the combustion process over the grate as a whole.
