The Von Roll Inova combustion capacity control system permits reliable and largely automated operation of the combustion section. Depending on the load required by the operator, the process is controlled in such a way as to maintain specified operating conditions, uniform thermal loading on the grate and good gas and slag burnout even when the fuel properties change.
An infrared camera installed in the combustion chamber permits exact localization of the flame on the grate so that the control system can take corrective action even more promptly upon unanticipated changes in fuel properties.
