Wet flue gas cleaning

AE&E offers limestone flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) scrubbers with high reliability and availability. Based on innovative developments we enhanced this technology to a most modern cleaning technology (FGDplus).

For plants located in coastal areas we offer an FGD plant using natural seawater as absorbent. Discharging the water back to the sea with only a minimum increase in the sulphate concentration, this is a cost effective and sustainable cleaning technology.
