Selective non catalytic reduction (SNCR)

 

In the SNCR process, an ammonia solution is injected directly into the combustion chamber within a well-defined temperature window (approx. 850-950 °C).

 

  • For waste incineration and biomass plants
  • Injection of ammonia water or urea solution into combustion chamber
  • With or without ammonia recovery
  • Reaching NOx removal up to 85%
