NEW ORDER: WITTENBERG - PIESTERITZ

New order: Wittenberg - Piesteritz

On January 1st, 2007, Stadtwerke Leipzig GmbH awarded the consortium of AUSTRIAN ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT AG & Co KG and KAB Takuma GmbH (project lead) the order for a turnkey biomass power plant in Wittenberg-Piesteritz. This project is a follow-up to Bischofferode with identical design and construction of the boiler and flue gas cleaning system. The business unit Energy will be responsible for the engineering, delivery, erection, and commissioning of the external fuel system, boiler pressure parts, and flue gas cleaning system.

Scope of supply and services comprise engineering, delivery, erection, and commissioning.

Fuel: 20 t/hr green wood chips
Steam parameters: 58.8 t/hr / 130.0 bar(a) / 535ºC
Reheating: 57.4 t/hr / 25.4 bar(a) / 535ºC
Electrical power: 20 MWel (condensation operation)
